Megabus Fire 2012 Erupts in Georgia, I-85

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – A Megabus Fire 2012 has erupted in Georgia today. The Megabus fire began on I-85 as the bus was traveling from Atlanta to Charlotte. Officials tell news that no persons are injured. FOX Carolina dispatched news reporters to the scene. But when they sought a comment from the Megabus driver, the driver declined comment.
Fifty passengers were on the bus. But the bus driver reportedly evacuated everyone safely off the bus as the vehicle caught fire.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation. But passengers claim at the overheating was reported before the fire began. Sections of I-85 northbound were closed near Hart County, CBS Atlanta is reporting.
Just days ago, a MegaBus bus crash in Illinois erupted on Interstate 55. The MegaBus bush crash left multiple persons injured among its eighty-one passengers. That MegaBus was traveling from Chicago to St Louis and slated to head to Kansas City.
Megabus has yet to comment about today’s incident. But yesterday it issued the following news statement about another incident. “We are aware of the incident in Chicago that just occurred. We are working closely with the police to investigate exactly was has happened. A statement will be released once all of the details have been obtained and confirmed.”
