Tanning Mom Pale Transformation: Patricia Krentcil Dispels Tanorexia Claims

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A new Tanning Mom “pale transformation” is being used by Patricia Krentcil to dispel claims that she suffers from tanorexia. Tanning Mom reveals her new “pale transformation” for news this weekend to prove that she is not addiction to tanning beds. But she does tell news that her urges to toast are still very strong.
In May, Tanning Mom told news that she does not suffer from “tanorexia”. At the time, Krentcil told news that she is a victim of a witch hunt, and not a victim of too much UV rays. She was irate that her tanning bed efforts were the toast of late night television.
Now, Tanning Mom is going pale to prove her point. But her news interview this week raised some eyebrows. Krentcil previously told news “I’m very tan and I’ve been tanning my whole life.”
But now , she is posing for In Touch Magazine to prove two points. First, she claims she can go a month without tanning. And second, she apparently reveals that her tan fans really fast.
She tells news that going pale was emotionally draining. “I’ve had moments where I’ve felt like, ‘I need to be tan.’ And I did all the spray tans and lotions and creams, too — anything to get dark. Once a doctor told me to stop tanning. But I didn’t listen to him. I wanted to be dark. I like looking like I just got back from vacation.”
Tanning Mom says she doesn’t like being pale. “I feel weird and pale.” When she sat down with the publication, they asked her to go completely dry. But she refused. “I’m not going dry!” she said. “Well, I’m sure I could if I really wanted to. But why should I?”
After tanning upwards of four times a week for twelve years, she claims that she is taking a break from tanning (but is still using Jergens self-tanner). But is the break indefinite? She tells news that she is irate her tanning salon has banned her, “I’ve been banned. It makes me so mad. The whole world tans, so why are they picking on me?”
For now, she’s asking only one thing of her critics: lighten up.
