Tamar Braxton, Joan Rivers, Get Debut Dates from WeTV
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Vincent Herbert, Tamar Braxton, and Joan Rivers got debut dates for their new seasons today. After weeks of questions and controversy, the Herberts have a debut date for their spinoff and the Rivers are finally returning to WeTV.
In April, LALATE reported exclusively that a third season for Joan and Melissa remained in doubt. Joan Rivers told news at the time that the network was hush about the show’s future. The comedian urged fans to ask the cabler to bring the show back for a third season. Rivers was asked by a fan “When is the Joan Knows Best show coming back on?” Rivers replied “Honestly I don’t know”. She also asked fans to “please reach out to @wetv” to urge the cable channel to pick up the show for a third season.
Rivers re-tweeted one fan message which read “I just tweeted and begged We TV to bring back Joan and Melissa. I’m addicted 2 the show. Seen every one Love it.” Today, WeTV told news Joan and Melissa Rivers’ reality series Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? will return for a third season to premiere in first-quarter 2013.

Also today, the cabler told news that the third season Braxton Family Values has been slated. BFV will return in first-quarter 2013. Also getting picked up is Mary, Mary, debuting with a news season December 13.

Tamar Braxton fans also got good news today. Vincent Herbert and Tamar finally have a debut date for their spinoff. Tamar & Vince will debut on September 20, WeTV tells news. The season is expected to focus on Tamar Braxton’s upcoming album. As previously reported on LALATE, Tamar’s album is expected to be released on Streamline Records, Herbert’s label established in 2007 with Interscope.
