LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Danell Leyva leaked photos 2012 scandal surface online today for the U.S. gymnast. Danell Leyva sent pictures to one woman who has now leaked some of those pics online today July 31, 2012 and is promising to leak far more scandalous pictures thereafter. And while the initial pictures she has released are clean, the woman behind the leak is offering to release far more compromising pictures of the Leyva in the coming days.

Danell Leyva leaked pictures scandal erupted hours after his team’s performance in the Men’s gymnast competition. Team USA failed to medal at the Olympics 2012 Games Monday. Danell Leyva and John Orozco will head into the individual all-around competition this week. The two have qualified first and fourth respectively and will face a field of roughly two dozen competitors on Wednesday.

But on Monday, both athletes had mistakes during the team competition. “I like to think it didn’t get to me, but I guess it did,” Orozco told the New York Daily News last night “Right now, it’s over, but I don’t feel fantastic about it. Some days, it’s easy for me to come back after some problems… Today, it wasn’t that easy.”

Hours after that performance by Levya, Deadspin, the website that revealed the Brett Favre texting message scandal, was contacted by a purported twenty-year old female. The publication claims the “woman says Leyva had ’sorta played’ her on a promised photo exchange, and that he’s done this to other women, too.”

As a result, she released to the website roughly ten, tame pictures. But she also tells the website that she has scandalous pictures that she intends to release of the gymnast. She purportedly tells the publication  “Would it be possible to see how it goes with those pics and then decide to send the [other] or not?” The woman has yet to release the other pictures. And Levya has yet to comment about the controversy.

But so far, the pictures the woman has released are far less revealing that Leyva’s own pictures in the Body Issue Magazine 2012 of EPSN Magazine.

Levya told news last night his thought about the team competition. “I’m sorry I can’t get back to all I you guys individually, I appreciate all the support you give me and my family which is the team”. He added “Didn’t turn out as planned but you better believe this is gonna serve as huge motivation for everything from here on out “
