LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Joe Giudice jail plea offer will head to Superior Court Judge Greta Gooden-Brown as early as possibly tomorrow. Joe Giudice’s jail plea deal was given a prior hearing date by Judge Gooden-Brown this summer. But that date passed with no further comment to news by prosecutors. Now Giudice is expected back in court in the coming days to tell Gooden-Brown if he has accepted or declined a plea deal from prosecutors. Unconfirmed reports claim that the Giudice hearing date could be as early as July 30, 2012.
Superior Court Judge Greta Gooden-Brown’s calendar and docket of current criminal cases is unavailable for public perusal online. Giudice earlier this summer was assigned to Gooden-Brown for his case in the Passaic Vicinage Criminal Division.
Passaic County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Jay Mc Cann is handling the case against Giudice. Mc Cann and Giudice’s attorney previously told the Court on May 29 that a further extension was needed for the parties to discuss a plea deal officer. The Court reluctantly rolled the deadline over to June 27, 2012. But after that June 27 deadline passed with no comment to news, RHONJ fans wondered what had happened.
Recently Teresa told news that Joe would not be appearing in court. ‚ÄúNo, he‚Äôs not going to court, ‚Äėbecause he‚Äôs away on business. And I can‚Äôt discuss any legal matters.‚ÄĚ If Teresa’s comments are accurate, then Joe is not likely to accept any plea deal before the Court this week. Any plea deal offer accepted would have been on the record before Gooden-Brown. But if Giudice is “not going to court”, then potentially he has not accepted the deal, at least not yet.
Mc Cann has previously told news that any plea deal would require Giudice to serve time in jail. Joe has previously briefly served time in jail after he was arrested for driving with a suspended license. Giudice’s current criminal problems, however, stem from his application to the local DMV. Giudice lost his license during a DUI conviction. After he was arrested for allegedly and then allegedly attempting to used fake information at a local DMV for a driver‚Äôs license.
Giudice allegedly took taking his brother’s Pietro Giudice’s marriage and birth certificate to allegedly get a fraudulent driver’s license at the Paterson, N.J., prosecutors claim. Giudice has yet to indicate if he is inclined to accept to accept a plea deal.
Unconfirmed reports claim that Teresa might next author a memoir book if Joe goes to jail. She might also get a spinoff series from Bravo about raising daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana during Joe’s possible time in jail. “But she knows everyone will see her as a victim and she‚Äôll get her own show.”
Recently, Jacqueline Laurita came out swinging on BravoTv.com about the Giudices. ‚ÄúThere has been a lot of rumors out there about Joe and Teresa both leading separate lives. In public they pretend like nothing is wrong, but‚Ķ‚ÄĚ Alrighty, so Jacs and Tre are really going for the jugular aren‚Äôt they? Can‚Äôt they just have a cocktail and hate on Danielle Staub some more?”
Melissa wrote about Joe this month . ‚ÄúBoys will be boys‚Ķ If Joe Giudice is just mad Joe didn‚Äôt return tools, and he continues to speak the way he does about his wife‚Äôs brother, that‚Äôs sad.‚ÄĚ She also added ‚ÄúHe has continually bashed me as well, and in the long run he‚Äôs only making a fool of himself.‚ÄĚ
