Violet Ripken Suspect Photos Released by Police

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Photos of the Violet Ripken abduction suspect have been released by police. The Violet Ripken suspect is still at large, police tell news today. In releasing the pictures, police are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the male suspect in the abduction of Cal Ripken’s mother.
Officials tell news that the male wears glasses and sports a short brown hair cut. Officials have no approximate age for the male. But they believe he is 5′10” and weights 180 lbs.
The Aberdeen Police Department at 410-836-5432 is handling the investigation. They would not tell news today what prompted the identification. But they claim the pictures come from a surveillance video at a local store.
Officials claim that the male suspect allegedly took Violet Ripken from Aberdeen, drove her through parts of Harford and Baltimore counties, and then returned to Aberdeeen on July 25.
A reward of $2,000 is being offered. Ripken’s family previously told news “As you now know, our mother was abducted at gunpoint from her home yesterday morning. This has been a very trying time for our family, but we are grateful and relieved that mom is back with us, safe and healthy.”
