Violet Ripken, Cal Ripken JR’s Mother, Found Safe after Abduction

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Violet Ripken, Cal Ripken’s mother, has been found safe after being abducted at gunpoint Tuesday. Ripken’s family issued a news statement moments about confirming that Violent is safe and back with her family. They also thanked fans for their support.
Details about Violent Ripken’s abduction still are being sorted by investigators, Cal Ripken Jr. told news moments ago. Cal said that Ms. Ripken was found this morning in her own car. Medical response individuals at the scene determined that Ms. Ripken was unharmed and in good condition.
However, search efforts are still underway for Violet Ripken’s abductor. Police tell news that they are looking for a “white male, mid-30s to early 40s, wearing a light-colored shirt, camouflage pants and glasses.”
Ms. Ripken was abducted Tuesday morning by gunpoint inside her home. The abduction occurred at roughly 7 to 8 am inside Ms. Ripken’s home in Aberdeen, Md.
In a news statement, the Ripken family said today “As you now know, our mother was abducted at gunpoint from her home yesterday morning. This has been a very trying time for our family, but we are grateful and relieved that mom is back with us, safe and healthy.” They added “We want to thank everyone for their tremendous support, especially all of the law enforcement agencies that worked so hard and quickly. This is on ongoing investigation, so we hope everyone understands that we cannot comment further at this time. Thank you.”
