ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Kile Glover is dead at age 11. Kile Glover, son of Ryan Glover and Tameka Foster, died Saturday morning. Family friends confirm to news that the Glover – Foster family decided to take Kile off life support prior to his passing.
The passing of Glover is prompting an outpouring of support for the Glover – Foster family. Glover’s father is Atlanta TV executive Ryan Glover. Foster is the ex-wife of Glover and singer Usher Raymond.
Earlier this week, the Glover-Foster family issued the following update to news about Kile’s condition. “We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it’s the best way we can all support him now.” They added “We know God’s in control, and are leaning on our faith in him and his word at this most difficult time.”
Glover was reportedly brain dead after he was struck by Jeffrey S. Hubbard during a jet ski accident earlier this July 2012. Glover was having fun on an inner tube with a female companion on Lake Lanier in Georgia. Hubbard on a jet ski thereafter crashed into the inner tube.
Robin Hill, a rep for the Department of Natural Resources (Wildlife Resources Division), says the matter is still under investigation. The 15 year old’s name and condition has yet to be released to news.
Family members tell Channel 2 Action News that Kile was taken off life support at 9 a.m. Kile was one of two children that Foster and Glover had during their relationship.
V-103’s Greg Street tweeted today “Lil RG is an Angel now, Ryan, Tameka, Usher & the whole Glover Family we got to make him proud!” V-103 morning host DJ Frank Ski added “CRYING, I Will Miss You Kile! Trying To Be Strong For My Foundation Trip Today. Sometimes Life Is So Unfair.”
