James Holmes Aurora Shooting Case: John Thomas Larimer Confirmed Dead

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – John Thomas Larimer is dead, his death confirmed in the James Holmes Aurora shooting case by officials today. John Thomas Larimer (photo above) along with Matt McQuinn, Alex Sullivan, and Jessica Ghawi are among the twelve fatalities identified to news since Friday’s deadly shooting.
Yesterday, the Defense Department told news that two airmen were injured, one sailor was injured, and another sailor was accounted for following the Aurora shooting rampage. But on Saturday, the father of sailor John Thomas Larimer told CNN News that his son died during the deadly attack.
On Friday, Scott Larimer told news that he hadn’t learn if John was dead or alive. “We have literally been calling for 15 hours” he said in a news statement at the time. “We cannot get any help from the military, the police, the hospitals, the Red Cross. … We cannot get a single answer if he is alive or dead. … We are more than frantic.”
