James Holmes, Aurora Shooting 2012 Suspect, Arrested

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – James Holmes, the Aurora shooting 2012 suspect, has been arrested. James Holmes (photos below) was arrested following the Aurora shooting today July 20, 2012 which left twelve persons dead and thirty-eight persons injured. Officials have yet to indicate if James Holmes has a Facebook or Twitter account, or if Holmes had posted any manifesto or blog online describing his motive for today’s attack. Investigators on the Aurora case will be briefing news about Holmes within the next few hours.
NBC News’ Justice Correspondent Pete Williams is telling news today that police have suspect James Holmes, born December 13, 1987, in custody. Officials report that the shooter had firearms within him, inside his car, and inside his home. Following the Aurora shooting, Holmes was arrested in the Century 16 parking lot.

At the time police brought Holmes in, he was in possession of three firearms. A robot was needed to inspect his vehicle where more weapons were found. Bomb sniffing dog(s) and another robot had to clear his local apartment thereafter before police could enter. James Holmes maintained a residence close to the Century 16 theater. But his vehicle had Tennessee license plates.
One witness claims that Holmes allegedly began shooting randomly. He had entered an emergency back door into the thereafter during a midnight showing of the new Batman film, the Dark Knight Rises.
Dressed in a riot gear like costume, he began to toss a smoke canister across the screen during an action sequence. Thereafter, he began to shoot at unarmed filmgoers, many children. “There was no order. He just started shooting” one witness today news.
The death toll was revised down from 15 to 12 deaths. The number of injured is revised from 50 to 38 persons. The Aurora attack today was roughly 25 miles from the 1999 Columbine attack which left 12 students dead (photo above).
Warner Brothers, the studio behind the Batman film, issued the following statement to news. “Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident.
