ORANGE COUNTY (LALATE) – Gretchen Rossi, Tamra Barney, and their Real Housewives of Orange County Reunion II this week nearly beat Kobe Bryant and LeBron James (above), in the TV ratings that is. Kobe Bryant recently told news that, if Team USA’s Basketball lineup doesn’t win the Olympic gold, all the players should give up their US citizenship. But this week, the first ladies of Bravo almost beat the men within the paint … of TV ratings.

Last week, LALATE reported that Rossi and Co delivered skyrocketed ratings for the reunion’s first telecast. The show delivered a jump from the season’s average of 1.91 million viewers to 2.51. The show ended up fourth among young adults for the night.

This week, the second part of the reunion telecast dropped in ratings, but still delivered a 1.94 ratings share. The show finished twentieth of the night, just behind Bryant and LeBron who pulled in a 2.1 ratings share with Team USA’s Basketball. Among young adults, Bravo’s hit series finished ninth.

The big number that night for Bravo, however, was the young adult demographic results for RHONY. Real Housewives of New York delivered a decent 1.39 ratings share for the night, finishing seventeenth overall. But the show delivered less than 0.7 million adults in the key 18-49 demographic, finishing fifteenth overall for the evening.
