HGTV Design Star 2012 Winner Battles Spoilers Online
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Who wins HGTV Design Star 2012? Online spoilers have not been particularly correct in predicting the HGTV Design Star 2012 winner in recent weeks. But tonight, the telecast heads into the eighth of nine episodes. One designer will be sent home. But who will it be?
Three women remain battling tonight to become the HGTV Design Star winner. They are Britany Simon, the 28 year old from Phoenix, Danielle Colding, the 36 year from Queens, and Hilari Younger, the 31 year old from Dallas.
And while spoilers haven’t been reliable to date, outcomes from previous weeks’ telecasts might give a clue about tonight’s results. In the previous eight telecasts of this competition, only three women have won the weekly competition, twice. They are Britany, Danielle, and the since eliminated Rachel. Coming into tonight’s telecast, Hilari has won only one weekly competition, during the fourth telecast.
Moreover, Britany has made news with the highest showing to date of any remaining competitor. Britany remains the only active competitor who has never been sent to the bottom. Danielle and Hilari, however, have both visited that slot at least twice.
So with the best record to date, Britany may appear to be the most likely candidate to advance to the finals. But will she? And will she win? Previous HGTV Design Star series winners have included the incredible Antonio Ballatore and David Bromstad. The final 3 competitors airs tonight on HGTV. I have never missed a Design Star competition. I have been viewing since the show’s start. I would like to think of myself as a quasi-design competitor. I think Britany has the ball and is running with it. She seems to be confident, despite the seemingly unpredictable mishaps that others (carpenter helper) have introduced. The other ladies don’t appear to be as versatile or spontaneous. Good luck Britany! I am pulling for you!

I’ve followed this competition from he beginning and I have most enjoyed the quick thinking and bold designs of HIllari and Britany, but my favorite is Hillari. I love Hillari’s upbeat energy. Her designs have all been winners in my opinion. I wish her well.

I think that Danielle will win because she has the best overall design skills and she is more comfortable in front of the camera
