Bogard Felipe Lugo de Leon Arrested for Mexico Airport Shooting

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Bogard Felipe Lugo de Leon has been arrested for the Mexico City Airport shooting at MEX on June 25, 2012, officials tell news today. Bogard Felipe Lugo de Leon is being described by local news as one of three federal police officers sought for the June attack.
Bogard Felipe Lugo de Leon is accused of become a rouge federal officer. He and two other officers were sought for the June 25 MEX shooting that resulted in three deaths. As reported on LALATE back on June 25, the murder happened near the departure drop-off area. One dozen shots were fired.
In a news briefing that day, Airport spokesman Jorge Gomez said “There has been a shooting here in the Terminal 2. As a result of this incident, two federal policemen lost their lives and another injured person has been taken to the hospital.†The federal Public Safety Department told news that the shooting happened in front of Mexico City’s international airport Terminal 2 near baggage check.
Federal Police regional security chief Luis Cardenas Palomino announced the arrest today in a news briefing. Palomino said that the first of three suspects, Bogard Felipe Lugo de Leon, was captured following a local tip. He was found inside a Mexico City apartment Sunday.
