Hans Kristian Rausing Wife Eva Rausing: Cause Death Remains Unresolved

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The cause death for Hans Kristian Rausing’s wife, Eva Rausing, still remains unresolved. But local news claims that Eva Rausing may have been dead over a week before her body was found, after Hans’ arrest, on Monday.
Last night, officials confirmed to news that Hans Kristian Rausing remains inside a medical facility. Officials tell news that Mr. Rausing is “currently receiving medical attention” at a “facility” and that no bond is pending.
As broke earlier this week, Mr. Rausing was arrested following the discovery of his wife’s body. Now local news reports that Mr. Rausing, 49, was arrested twice by police on Monday.
First, the Tetra Pak empire heir reportedly was arrested for allegedly driving erratically shortly after lunch. During a search of his vehicle, Mr. Rausing was arrested for alleged possession of a Type A narcotic.
Thereafter, while in custody at a South London police station, Mr. Rausing was rearrested again. Detectives visited the couple’s mansion. During their search, they found the deceased Mr. Rausing. But now officials tell news that Eva may have been dead for nearly a week when her body was found.
Mr. Rausing’s bail is currently suspended while he is being treated. Officials will not state the reason for which Mr. Rausing is inside a facility.
In a news statement, Tom and Nancy Kemeny, said Tuesday that “along with all of their family are deeply saddened by the death of their beloved daughter, Eva Louise Rausing …Eva was a devoted wife for twenty years and mother of four much loved and wonderful children.”
They also remarked “During her short lifetime she made a huge philanthropic impact, supporting a large number of charitable causes, not only financially, but using her own personal experiences. She bravely fought her health issues for many years. The family is devastated at her death and asks to be given privacy at this difficult time.”
Charities that Eva assisted remembered her in news statements this week. The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community remarked
“Everyone involved with Action on Addiction is devastated to hear the news of Eva Rausing’s untimely death. Without any desire for public recognition, Eva has, through her wonderfully generous support of this and other charities, helped so many people for over 20 years. We offer our deepest sympathy to Eva’s family at this time of great loss.”
