When spoilers revealed months ago that Emily Maynard and her winner were engaged, fans reacted favorably to the news. Thereafter, fans learned that Emily sends Jef and Arie to the finale. While that finale has yet to air, RealitySteve claims in new spoilers that Jef Holm is Emily’s winner.
Fans have reacted differently to the Bachelorette this season than last season’s Bachelor. When spoilers on the Bachelor last season pointed to Courtney Robertson’s future win, fans became irate.

Fans not only became angry with Ben’s suitor but also the star himself. Many fans asserted that Ben allegedly came into the season with humility and suddenly embraced exactly the opposite. As one fan claimed “Ben has proven… to be the least popular bachelor in the history of the show, which may be because we feel some kinship with or pity for him and as such, we expect humility of him as evidenced by his actions.”
But this season, fans have responded very well to Emily Maynard. Reportedly, that has been producers’ motivation to cast Roberto Martinez, Jr. as the next bachelor. One report claims that they casted him “because he’s very likable”. That was not the case for Ben by the end of last season. One fan wrote at the time “But Ben is not behaving with humility at all in his choices or his treatment of the others.”

Fans have also reacted positively to how Emily and Jef’s romance has developed this season. Last season, they were angered by the “swimming” scene with Courtney which they believe changed the cards for Ben. One fan wrote “That swimming absolutely didn’t have place on the national TV and it shouldn’t be shown at all!!! I agree with that. But that is what Ben likes about her, every moment with her was unexpected and it was clear that he was going to pick her.”

So what is Arie’s future? While he is not reportedly joining any future Bachelor or Bachelor Pad telecasts, many contend that Arie will return to reality and news programming. He previously appeared on Hell’s Kitchen last year. For one season, he was a sports analysts for the Versus network. Arie has yet to indicate if he will return to racing. He last competed in 2010 for the Indy Lights.
And what is Emily and Jef’s future? For now, the couple are engaged, still very much together, and reportedly planning a fall wedding.
