Emily Maynard in the final will pick Jef over race car driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. And tonight Emily will eliminate Sean Lowe. But many questions about Jef and Emily’s future still remain uncertain.

Before filming began on The Bachelorette 2012, Arie Luyendyk Jr reportedly told friends that he would win the season. For Arie, his prediction doesn’t come true in the final rose. While Emily Maynard doesn’t find fault with Arie Luyendyk Jr’s dating past with Cassie Lambert, she does find a better fit with Jef Holm.

Jef Holm, however, has resonated well with viewers, not just Emily. When spoilers broke news that Emily picks Jef as her winner, that the two get engaged in the finale, and that the two are reportedly still together, fans weren’t surprised.

In fact, The Bachelorette 2012 season has been clearly different than the controversial last season of The Bachelor. During that season, fans were outraged that Ben chose Courtney Robertson. And then when Courtney received the final rose, many fans questioned whether Courtney and Ben would ever still together.

And while Courtney Robertson’s negative reaction among viewers might have drawn strong ratings on the Bachelor, reportedly producers are going for a more likeable lead and female mates for the next season, with casting expected to begin for the new Bachelor, reportedly Roberto Martinez, Jr..
