South Fort Worth Fire Map Prompts Burleson, Texas Wildfire Concerns

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – A south Fort Worth Fire map is prompting concerns for the Burleson, Huguley Hospital area today. Officials warn a south Fort Worth Fire is spreading through dense grass in the region off Crockett Drive and can be seen from I3W.
Thirty minutes ago, official warned of the fire erupting in the region. John Burgdorf of DFW Police Scanner reported the grass fire erupted in the “Burleson/Ft Worth area near Huguley Hospital off Crockett Drive” today July 4, 2012. Burgdorf reported dense smoke could be seen in the vicinity. Some section of the smoke could thereafter be seen from I35W, Burgdorf tells news.
Jason Whitely of WFAA-TV Channel 8 is reporting the cause of the blaze was local fireworks. “Grass fire started by fireworks in South Fort Worth”. He also claims the blaze is threatening “100 homes in subdivision”.
Whitely also tell news that the fire is centered currently at “FM 1187 and Oak Grove Rd. in South Fort Worth” adding that “FWPD confirms it was started by fireworks.” Below is a map of that location.
