Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes Divorce

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are divorcing. A Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes divorce is being pursued, a news report confirms today. The couple have reportedly already split and ended their five year marriage.
In a news statement Friday June 29, 2012, Holmes’ attorney Jonathan Wolfe does not deny news of the couple’s split. But Wolfe give no further details about what prompted the couple’s purported divorce.
PEOPLE Magazine is not confirming which of the two have filed for divorce. The couple married in November 2006. They have one child, Suri, age 6.
Cruise’s first Mission Impossible film cost $80 million and delivered a whopping $1/2 billion boxoffice gross worldwide. His third film cost roughly $150 million, and pulled in $400.
“This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family,” said Holmes’s attorney Jonathan Wolfe in a news statement to PEOPLE. “Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.” Cruise has yet to comment about the matter.
