Corpse on Flight Prompts Fright for Lena Pettersson

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A woman who sat next to a corpse on a flight is telling news of her shocking plane trip. A woman had to seat next to a corpse on a flight internationally aboard Kenya Airways says she got only a partial refund for the fright-flight of her life.
Lena Pettersson tells news that she was all excited about her Amsterdam to Africa flight this month. She was seated on a Kenya Airways flight alongside another man. They were hoping to make the trip to Tanzanian city of Dar es Salaam. But only one of them made the flight alive.
Shortly after take-off, the man next to Lena Pettersson died. She tells news that flight attendants were quickly alerted to the man’s passing and moved other passengers away from the corpse as the plane continued its path.
But she claims that flight attendants told her they were out of luck in changing her seats. While everyone else allegedly got to move away from the corpse, Lena Pettersson was allegedly delegated to remain seated next to the corpse throughout the entire, overnight, international flight.
She tells news that he was seated just across the aisle from her. Moreover, she says that, because the dead man was so tall, the corpse’s legs stuck out into the aisle whether the meal and beverage cart would pass.
Kenya Airways has yet to comment to news about the allegations. But Lena Pettersson tells news that she got a “reasonable” partial refund only after months of alleged negotiations with the airline.
