Wood Hollow Fire Map Changes as Utah Wildfires Advance

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The Wood Hollow Fire Map changed today as active Utah wildfires advanced Monday. The Wood Hollow Fire Map expanded Monday June 25, 2012 as the Dump Fire, Grease Fire, and Quail Fire all burned across Utah.
In a news briefing Monday, officials warned that the Wood Hollow Fire has destroyed at least two dozen structures so far. Officials are fearful of other residential structures in the Wood Hollow Fire’s current path. They tell news today that the fire erupted Saturday roughly one miles outside of Fountain Green. As of Monday, the blaze is reportedly eighteen miles north east of Indianola.
Firefighters are attempting to make progress on the Wood Hollow Fire today because of nearly 575 structures, mainly residential, currently near the fire’s front line. Some Sanpete County residents went on evacuation today. Several thousand residents are out of their homes today as the fire has consumed thousands of acres.
In a news briefing Monday, officials issued new mandatory evacuations. Those evacuations include Water Hollow, Hideaway Valley, Panorama Heights, Baldy, Elk Ridge, Big Hollow and Indian Ridge along with Indianola and Oaker Hills.

The smoke from these fires are stretching to Minnesota. I just hope no one gets hurt from these fires.
