Argentina Earthquake 2012, Terremoto Today Felt in Bolivia

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – An Argentina earthquake today 2012 could be felt in Bolivia. The strong terremoto hoy struck in the early morning hours and could be felt across the Jujuy region of Argentina. Today’s temblor was the strongest to strike the country since May.
USGS indicates to news that, shortly after 7:25 am today, a strong 5.3 magnitude Argentina earthquake erupted. The temblor, however, had a substantial depth. USGS puts the quake roughly one hundred miles below the earth’s surface.
But local news reports that the quake could be felt into neighboring Bolivia. The quake was centered seventy miles west of Abra Pampa, USGS indicates to news. The quake was eighty miles west of La Quiaca. But the terremoto could also be felt eighty miles southwest in Villazon, Bolivia. The quake struck approximately one hundred miles south of Bolivia’s city of Tupiza. No reports of damage have yet to be indicated by local news.
In May, Argentina got hit by an even stronger temblor. On May 28, an Argentina earthquake registered a 6.7 magnitude, USGS indicated to news. But the quake had a super depth, striking nearly four hundred miles below the earth’s surface. As a result, the quake’s range of motion was limited.
