A 3.0 magnitude Utah earthquake struck Friday, USGS indicates to news. The quake , however, had no depth. USGS reports to news that the quake struck at the earthâ€™s surface. As result, the quake could be felt across the immediate area.
The quake was centered twenty minutes east of Boulder, USGS indicates to news. The quake was also twenty-seven miles southeast of Torrey. It was centered thirty-three miles east of Escalante and one hundred fifty-seven miles south of Provo.
Mapping indicates that the quake was centered east of Fishlake National Forest, North of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, and west of Canyonlands National Park. The quake was centered southeast of Salt Lake City and Springville and northwest of Durango and Farmington. No reports of damage have yet to be indicated by local news.
