LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Bachelorette 2012 winner Arie Luyendyk Jr and Emily Maynard are engaged, so suggests Arie in a bizarre news statement Friday. Arie Luyendyk Jr and Emily Maynard have yet to tell news who wins the Bachelorette 2012 season. But a news statement Friday, Arie is suggesting that he is the Bachelorette 2012 winner, and that he’s engaged to Emily.
Before Arie Luyendyk Jr granted a telephone news conference call on Friday morning, several online spoilers had already revealed facets about the conclusions of Bachelorette 2012 season. First spoilers have already claimed that Emily Maynard does find her match and does pick a winner in the last episode. Second, spoilers have claimed that Emily and her Bachelorette 2012 winner got engaged and are still together.
Third, spoilers have asserted that, since filming of the Bachelorette 2012 season has ended, the final three men have gone into ABC security residences. The final three men purportedly have not been allowed to have outside contact, face to face, with news or photographers since production ended.
And finally, spoilers have claimed that the three finalists still under security / media lockdown are Jef Holm, Arie Luyendyk Jr., or Sean Lowe.
If all those spoilers are correct, then in the final episode either Jef Holm, Arie Luyendyk Jr., or Sean Lowe got engaged to Emily, and are still engaged to her. Moreover, if the spoilers are correct, the two other men haven’t been allowed any free time to get engaged to anyone else in recent weeks.
But, on Friday, Arie Luyendyk Jr. gave the most bizarre news statement yet of this Bachelorette 2012 season. During a telephone conference call with news media, Arie was asked by Entertainment Tonight if he would be interested in doing the Bachelor for a future season. Arie responded that he would not be interested because he is now …. engaged. When asked if he would appear in the next Bachelor, Arie said “My fiancĂ© might not approve of that.”
It remains unclear why Entertainment Tonight didn’t ask Arie a single follow up question. ET claims that Arie was not joking in his remarks. If Arie wasn’t joking, the question remains if he accidentally slipped in his remarks, or if the engagement revelation was an intentional, deliberate, leak planned for the interview. Earlier in the same conversation, Arie told news that he believes that Emily has a better connection with him than any other cast member this season.
