Croatia vs Spain 2012 Battle in Group C Euro Showdown

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – When Croatia vs Spain 2012 battle this Monday June 18, the two countries will seek to advance out of Group C of the Euro 2012. Croatia vs Spain 2012 (en vivo 2:45 PM EST) is one of two keys UEFA Euro 2012 Group C showdowns this Monday. But as news analysts reminded fans today, three of four counties in the group all still have a chance of advancing and also have a chance of elimination.

Prior to Monday’s Group C match, only Ireland is confirmed eliminated. But Spain and Croatia, currently both in first place in their group with four points, can advance to the quarterfinals or be eliminated based upon this week’s results.

The peculiar standing is the result of the strong offenses of both counties against Ireland. Against Ireland, the two counties delivered a combined seven goals. First on June 10, Croatia inked a 1-3 victory. Then four days later, Spain secured its own 4-0 win.

But news analysts are not sure how Spain and Croatia’s offense will do against each other. Against Ireland, Mario Mandžuki? scored two goals for Croatia, one at the three minute mark and a second forty-nine minutes into play. Nikica Jelavi?, in turn, scored a third goal at the forty-three minute mark.

But when Spain battled Ireland, Fernando Torres scored two goals as well. Torres delivered points at the four minute mark and then later again at the seventy minute mark. David Silva and Cesc Fàbregas, on substitution, also scored.

The picture is not so similar in recent International Friendly matches. Since August, Spain has only been defeated in two of its International Friendly matches. It was defeated by Italy in August and then by England in November. Since then, Spain has earned wins against Chile, Venezuela, Serbia, North Korea, and this month against China. Croatia, in turn, has defeated Estonia but earned a draw against Norway and Ireland and loss to Sweden. So who will win this Monday? Click HERE for live results.
