Dr. Timothy Jorden Dead, Surgeon Manhunt in Jacqueline Wisniewski Murder Ends
ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Dr. Timothy Jorden is dead, officials believe. Dr. Timothy Jorden has been found dead following a manhunt for the surgeon. Jorden was wanted in the murder of co-worker Jacqueline Wisniewski.
Officials tell news that Jorden’s body was found Friday. Jorden’s body was discovered near his home following a national manhunt this week. A source tells the Buffalo News that the body has been identified as Jorden. Officials also confirmed to news that they had been focusing on the area of dense brush around the surgeon’s home for several days.
Neighbors had told news that Jorden’s appearance had changed dramatically in recent moments. They said he had dropped seventy pounds. Additionally, they reported that the stunning grounds around his home had suddenly gone into disrepair.
A friend of the victim, Heather Shipley, told WIBTV-TV, that Jorden didn’t handle his breakup from Wisniewski. He allegedly “wouldn’t let go. She told me if anything happened to her, that it was him.”
Officials have yet to make a statement to news confirming the identification of the body. A press conference is expected for later today. Search efforts conducted by the US Marshals for the last two days, however, have stopped.
