Surgeon Manhunt Underway for Dr. Timothy Jorden

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – A Dr. Timothy Jorden surgeon manhunt is underway nationally. Dr. Timothy Jorden is sought in the shooting death case of Jacqueline Wisniewski. Jorden and Wisniewski reportedly dated before.
New York police tell news that Dr. Timothy Jorden is sought for questioning in the alleged murder of Wisniewski. Investigators believe that killing occurred Wednesday morning. Police tell news that the shooting erupted inside the workplace of both individuals: Erie County Medical Center.
Police believe that Jorden, 49, allegedly fatally shot Wisniewski, 33, inside a stairwell in the early hours of work Wednesday. Police have yet to release a motive for the attack.
Police are warning the public that Jorden is believed armed and dangerous. They also believe that he made have changed his appearance.
Buffalo Police Commissioner Daniel Derenda on Thursday told news that Jorden is “a person of interest”. Wisniewski previously told a friend that Jorden had once allegedly held her captive for a day and half inside her home, against her will. Police believe that Jorden, a former Army weapons expert, might still be in the Lake Eire and neighboring region.
After the shooting, hospital officials released a news statement which read “The ECMC Health Campus has reopened, except for the DK Miller Office Building which is closed at this time. All employees scheduled to work today should report at their regularly scheduled time. ECMC is no longer on emergency room diversion and has resumed all regular operations.”
