Guyana vs Costa Rica 2012 Prepare for Critical Ranking

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Guyana vs Costa Rica 2012 is the earlier of two matches being played in Group B action today for the World Cup qualifiers. But when Guyana vs Costa Rica 2012 kick off this evening (en vivo 8 PM EST), both countries will know that only two teams in their group will advance to the next round of qualifiers. Unlike other groups, however, this Group B has no clear favorite. A win by Guyana tonight could move the country into possible qualification ranking.
After tonight’s Guyana vs Costa Rica 2012 game, fans will also get El Salvador vs Mexico. In Group B action, Mexico is currently ranked first with three points while Guyana is in last place with no points.
Like other matches played tonight, one of the two teams taking to the field is a “bye” team. Here, Costa Rica is that team. The Costa Ricans joined countries like Mexico and USA in getting a bye to the third round of the CONCACAF qualification. But tonight, they will battle Guyana which last won its Group B Second Round to advance.
While Guyana might have finished first out of the Second Round Group B, Guyana was not particularly dominating. In winning all three games, and scoring six goals in three matches, Guyana surprised news in letting two goals get scored on them.
But for Costa Rica, the key will be its scoring strength. Since September, Costa Rica has almost never gone scoreless in a game. The team last earned a 2-2 draw against El Salvador on June 8. But with the exception of a shutout on June 1 against Guatemala, Costa Rica has impressed news with wins or draws this year against Honduras and Guatemala in International Friendly. Last year, the team earned that stellar win, as well, against USA. For live updates tonight, click HERE.
