Charlie Sheen Rant 2012 Strikes Staples Center, Kings Game

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Charlie Sheen rant 2012 now has struck Staples Center. While Charlie Sheen had enumerable rants following his CBS firing, Sheen is back with another rant during a Kings game. Just as Sheen’s new show is about to premiere (entitled “Anger Management”), Sheen was recorded this week screaming at someone else.
The latest Charlie Sheen 2012 rant concerns smoking at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. Sheen went to the venue to watch this week’s Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals. In taking a break from the Kings game, Sheen decided to have a cigarette smoke. With nearly nineteen thousand in attendance that night, Staples Center patrons all had a designed area for cigarette smoking inside the venue.
But Sheen decided to create his own policy and own location.
Sheen decided to step outside to smoke, rather than go to the designated area used by more than two and half men per night. Michael Roth of AEG issued a news statement denouncing Sheen’s rant.
In the tirade, Sheen is furious that an employee didn’t let Sheen back into the venue, in accordance with venue policy. Roth’s statement to news reads “We regret that any patron would direct such … language at one of our employees.”
Roth defended the employee’s actions and said that they acted in complete compliance with venue policies. Moreover, Roth said that Sheen should understand that patrons follow the same policy at “nearly every other venue where tickets are required for entry” across the U.S.
Sheen is heard saying “You know what? … Have common sense and common courtesy gone in society?” Just this week, Sheen is on the front page of Rolling Stone apologizing for his post-CBS behavior. In his “Sheen denial” statement, he claims “I mean, how does a guy who’s obviously quicksanded, how does he consider any of it a victory? I was in total denial.”
