Jay Electronica, Kate Goldsmith Battle London Allegations

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Jay Electronica (Roc Nation) and Kate Goldsmith (a Rothschild heir) are battling London allegations. Kate Goldsmith denounced the allegations by British newspapers in a statement Monday; Jay Electronica remained silent. Now Kate’s husband, Ben Goldsmith, has allegedly move out of the couple’s home in London and headed to Italy. The
Telegraph reports that Ben is set to file for divorce. “I’m pretty shell-shocked by everything. All I am thinking about now is my children,” Ben said in a news statement.
But Kate issued a news statement this week denouncing London newspapers. Kate said a series of articles published this week have been erroneous. “Articles in today’s media contain false and inaccurate information which appears to have been given to the media in a deliberate attempt to damage Kate and her businesses as well as to deflect from the gravity of last week’s incident involving the police.” The statement added “Kate is devastated, she has had a very frightening time since she and her husband initially split five months ago, and this is just another sad development. Her main concern now is for her children who will remain with her at the family home.”
Jay Electronica (Timothy Elpadaro Thedford) has yet to issue a news statement. In 2007, he released the hit song Act I: Eternal Sunshine. In 2010, he and then partner Erykah Badu welcomed a child.
While Jay Electronica was signed by Jay-Z nearly two years ago, Jay-Z now tells news that Jay Electronica’s debut album Elec is set to release finally this year. “I love that, I want to support that sort of energy. I want people to be creative and not traditional, not just a single [at] this time, this time [and] this time,” Jay-Z told MTV recently. “You know, he [Jay Elect] operates at his own time, but the album is really close.”
