Noise coming from the kitchen woke me up. I thought my daughter got up and was doing something in the kitchen. Then i quickly realized the whole building was shaking and knew it was an earthquake. It lasted quite a while. Then just moments later, an after shock occured, weaker and shorter lasting and i think there was yet another aftershock after that as well. This was the third one this year. I was sleeping when few minutes after 4AM I heard a huge noise approaching which woke me up. The building started to move and I had the feeling that my bed was in a boat on the sea! It lasted around 15sec. It was not such a big quake, but it was quite impressive. The quake could be felt in Milan as well.
