Lil Kim Father Linwood Jones Battling Alzheimer's Disease

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Lil Kim’s father Linwood Jones is battling Alzheimer’s disease, the rapper reveals to news. Lil Kim tells news Thursday that her father has a “small case” of the condition. And despite being estranged from Jones, Kim says that she has taken her father in to live with her, full time.

Lil Kim opens up candidly to news today to reveal her father’s battle and her ability to open up her home to him. Lil Kim admits to the New York Post that she and her father were estranged. But now, despite his ex-wife troubles, she has brought her father into her home.

The rapper further details that her family hadn’t gotten a diagnosis of the condition initially. But after she saw symptoms, she further investigated the situation.

Lil Kim tells the Post “My father had ex-wife troubles. Also health issues. He shakes. Spills coffee and food. We have to cook for him, pour his juice. His sickness wasn’t diagnosed, but it’s a small case of Alzheimer’s. I know about ‘Honor Thy Father and Mother.’ My father and I were estranged, but I’ve taken him in. He lives with me.”

The rapper further details to news that its unimportant for her what the public perceives. But “People around me know I do good.” She adds “but God’s working on helping to understand me. Someday, people will [too].”
