Race car driver Arie Luyendyk Jr brings to Emily Maynard’s Bachelorette 2012 season an unusual mix of familiar elements and spoiler revelations. And yet, online leaked details claim that Arie Luyendyk Jr gets to the final three of The Bachelorette 2012 before tensions explode on camera.
Arie Luyendyk, Jr is from the Netherlands. And like the late Ricky Hendrick, his first love (until this season) is auto racing. During his career, Arie has made news on three different series. He competed in the SCCA Formula Continental in 2001. That year, he finished third in the Formula Continental class.

The next year, Arie moved over to the IndyCar Series. For one year, Arie was on Indy Racing League’s Indy Pro Series (which later became known as Firestone Indy Lights). But by 2005, Arie told news he was heading into the Indy Car Series.

In 2005, Arie qualified for the 2005 Indianapolis 500 with Beck Motorsports. The next year, he qualified again for the Indy 500, but this time backed by Blue Star Jets.
For two years, Arie Luyendyk competed for A1 Team Netherlands. But by 2010, he made news, returning to Indy Lights.
Arie brings to the Bachelorette on-air experience as well. For one season, he was a sports analysts for the Versus network.

Arie never competed with Ricky Hendrick. When Arie was in the SCCA Formula Continental, Hendrick was in the Nationwide Series (formerly the NASCAR Busch Series) and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (now the Camping World Truck Series) When Arie headed to the IndyCar Series, Ricky had already retired. Hendrick retired in 2002 after suffering a crash at Las Vegas Motor Speedway that year and injuring his shoulder.

Online spoilers claim the Bachelorette 2012 winner will be either Jef Holm, Arie Luyendyk Jr., or Sean Lowe. Going into the finale, Chris Bukowski is eliminated in the forth position as well. During the final four telecast, Arie allegedly admits to Emily in a shocker that he previously dated Cassie Lambert in 2003, a Bachelorette producer. But she still keeps him and sends him to the finale.
