American Idol 2012 Top 3 Results Prompt Finals Anticipation
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Who is in the American Idol 2012 finals? The American Idol 2012 Top 3 results tonight proved as competitive as ever with Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, Hollie Cavanagh, and Phillip Phillips all giving their best performances of the season. When American Idol 2012 Top 3 results are announced tomorrow May 10, news analysts will learn if Randy Jackson’s elimination predictions are correct.
Earlier today, Randy Jackson told news that the winner of American Idol 2012 in his mind will end up being Joshua Ledet or Phillip Phillips. But many news analysts don’t agree. At the beginning of the season, Jessica Sanchez seemed to be the apparent top hopeful to win the season. But in recent weeks, many have worried if Jessica has slowed.
In turn, the judges have told news that Joshua Ledet has consistently improved through April and this month. Today, Joshua was on fire again. Joshua Ledet with You Raise Me Up earned top marks from the judges. Randy Jackson told news that Joshua has validated the judges’ praises. Jennifer called the performance “really great”. And Steven Tyler said “You are the plane are right now.”
Jessica Sanchez was great tonight with her performance of Steal Away. But after the judges saved her earlier in the season, Jessica has not ended in the bottom three ever again. Could this week prompt troubles for Jessica?

The judges certainly didn’t think so. Randy told her that her vibe was great. Jennifer said she loved the “growl” at the beginning. And Steve said “You just nailed that.”

Randy Jackson thinks Phillip Phillips could win this season. But despite Randy’s comments to news earlier today, Randy told news tonight that Phillip started “rough” on his performance. Yet not everyone agreed with Randy. Jennifer Lopez told news “The vocal quality you used for that was perfect” and Steve said that Phillip proved why he could win this season. “You are living proof that success starts with construction.”

So who could face elimination tonight? Not one of the singers tonight stood out as clearly in trouble. But Hollie Cavanagh coming into tonight’s performance clearly knew about her past. She has been in the bottom three before. But what did the judges think?

Randy told news that Hollie tonight gave her best performance of the season. “You are peaking at the right time.” Steven agreed, telling news that it was great to see her “blossom” late in the season. Jennifer was overwhelmed with how good the performance was. “I’m just feeling emotional listening to the song.”
Hollie has been in the bottom each of the last three weeks. So could Hollie face elimination tomorrow night?

Joshua reminded me of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, circa early 50’s. I Put a Spell on You, comes to mind. I believe that screaming at the top of your lungs does not equate out to stellar vocal performances.

Yeah, totally agree. Seems like he isn’t singing at all.. Just screaming and shouting here and there. I can’t get it why he gets overrated to the point that other contestants are being overlooked.

Jessica Sanchez will win this competition-American Idol’ 2012, she sing very well since from the beginning her performance is very great with their fantastic voice.
She is a good singer among the rest….

I don’t like Joshua the way he sing because he always screaming and screaming and forced himself for the reason to reach the point of the highest pitch, this is not the kind of a singer like that…. isn’t it???

I think if you look at the remaining contestants the only one that truly has a solid career ahead is Phillip. I think Joshua and Jessica both have great voices but where do they appeal to people buying music? Jessica has proven that she can really only sing ballads and Joshua has a great josh Grobin style about him but that isn’t what people are looking for as an idol. I think Phillip has a cool sound and I would actually go buy his music. He brings back that good southern rock sound that has been lacking some in the market. Just my thoughts!

Jessica Sanchez is a good singer, she is my idol, all my friends coming from Australia, Canada and Japan vowed her great voice and she can sing all style of songs.

Personally, I would like Jessica to win. She has the appeal, the voice and the body of “Holywood” being so petite. Given the right songs for her to sing, she can top the charts, just like fellow idols Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. In american idol history, and contrary to Bama1575, the most bought albums are from 2 female idols – Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, and Jessica has the potential to be the next.

The 4 contestants have their great voices, but i have chosen Jessica Sanchez, she is the best among three because she have been deserving her good performances, she is a good singer….

Its amazing how top 4 are performing. I would dare to say this is the closest yet. I think Jessica deserve to win as she have that something special and hope that ..America hear the world..do vote Jessica…

Jessica and Hollie both have amazing singing voices, but you have to remember that this is just as much a popularity contest as it singing. And I think that Phillip probably has the best balance of talent and likeability as any of the others, especially Josh. Hes just a lump and hes in the way. My favorites, Skylar and Elise are gone so all Im doing now is watching lol

I really hope phillip wins this. he has a unique talent that cannot be replaced. Sorry to say, but I think Hollie might go tonight. She has been in the bottom three almost 4 weeks i believe and with her second performance last night, it seems likely.

In my opinion….jessica sanchez is the greatest performer and singer ever in american idol history…….with her vocal ability and talent…..my god she proves that she really deserves to win…i think jessica sanchez is one of the best singer ever…..i hope america and other location for voting will vote for jessica sanchez……do it right……cuz this is the time to have a new diva of her kind…jessica sanchez……thank you for sharing your wonderful voice and god given talent…..you have the heart and soul and every songs that you sang….your too young but you are phoenomenal…..what i can say to you its wow…amazing….bravo…..please vote for jessica sanchez and let her dreams come true…and im sure that she will give us a wonderful music……go jessica my family, relatives, friends, people in our country supporting you all the way…..we are waiting for you to come and our country……..godbless jessica and godbless america and to the rest of the world

Jessica and Joshua are standing ovation, they are both real singer with their fantastic voices. Jessica is very great and amazing, she deserved it to become a new diva in American Idol Season 11…. she is in the first place while Joshua will be in the second place. I’m so sorry to Philip and Hollie, they are both lousy in their performances….
