Roberto Adinolfi of Finmeccanica’s Ansaldo Nucleare Shot in Genoa

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Roberto Adinolfi of Ansaldo Nucleare has been shot in Genoa. Roberto Adinolfi is the head of Ansaldo Nucleare, part of aerospace and defense company Finmeccanica. Officials tells news that Adinolfi was shot exiting his Genoa home by two anarchists on bikes. He reportedly suffered a single gunshot to the leg.
Adinolfi’s shooting has not been linked to any group. And no organization has yet taken credit for the attack. Local news, however, claims that anarchists might be to blame.
Adinolfi reportedly exited his home when he was cornered by two men on bikes. Even though the two men fired off three shots at close range, only one hit Adinolfi in the leg.
Alessandro Pansa, head of Finmeccanica, issued a news statement denouncing the attack. Pansa also tells news that Adinolfi is resting after surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. “We hope investigators can find as quickly as possible those responsible for an act that brings us back to a very sad chapter of Italian history,” said Lorenzo Cesa of the centrist UDC party in a news statement today.
