ThisDay Nigeria Newspaper Bomb Explosion Strikes The Moment, The Daily Sun

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – A Nigeria bomb explosion struck newspaper offices for ThisDay, The Moment and The Daily Sun Thursday. Six people are dead. The Nigeria bomb explosions were the result of two suicide bombers and their use of cars filled with explosives. Officials have yet to report the number of person injured.
The two Nigeria attacks today April 26, 2012 struck newspaper headquarters in Abuja and Kaduna for several companies. Two separate bombings struck offices for ThisDay, The Moment and The Daily Sun papers.
The first attack happened in Abuja. There a suicide bomber drove through security gates. Once inside, he detonated the bomb, impacting ThisDay offices. Then in Kaduna a separate bomb went off, striking newspaper offices for The Moment and The Daily Sun.
Officials have yet to determine the organization behind today’s bombing. Nwakpa O. Nwakpa, a spokesman for the Nigerian Red Cross, tells news that search and rescue efforts are still underway. Officials fear that the death toll could rise.
The ThisDay explosion erupted in Abuja 11:30 a.m., officials confirm to news. Few details have yet to be released to news about the second bombing in Kaduna.
