White Room Challenge: David Bromstad Returns with Dina Manzo, Jamie Durie

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The White Room Challenge will feature David Bromstad’s return with Jamie Durie and Dina Manzo this week on HGTV. David Bromstad’s announcement of White Room Challenge, revealed last month on LALATE, is the latest extension of HGTV’s programming expansion with Bromstad. Whether you call it a competition format version of Color Splash or not, the program boasts familiar and beloved hosts.
In March, David told news that he had been out off of Facebook for several days. But after his return from Los Angeles, David made the revelation. The news announcement of the program was midseason for HGTV. David told fans at the time “It may be seven years later, but I still remember the pressure cooker of a white room challenge!”
The show awards the winner $10,000. HGTV tells news that the show will feature “up-and-coming and established designers from around the country compete to create the most original, eccentric and outrageous white rooms you’ve ever seen, made from strange or unusual items.”
David tells news he is exceptionally excited about the program. “Forty-eight hours until my hot new @hgtv show! #whiteroomchallenge”. He adds “You’re gonna die! Hot soup.” Fans are already excited about the countdown. Robin Meade (HLN) sent her own wishes to David today, writing “Congrats on that David”.
The timing of the show couldn’t be better. As Real Housewives of New Jersey (Bravo) returns this week, fans are still asking about the Dina Manzo Caroline Manzo situation. “Caroline said her family members are mad at Dina” one fans asked Dina Saturday. Dina replied “not at all true. The only ones I stay away from are the ones who are wrapped up with all the show [drama]“.
But for Manzo, even picking colors for a room are a challenge. She writes Wednesday “painting my living room this weekend, hmmm blue or purple? Funny, I can decide so easily for others but can never make up my mind for me.”
