Kim Richards Rehab, Alcoholic Admission Ignites RHOBH Reunion
BEVERLY HILLS (LALATE) – Kim Richards rehab, her alcoholic admission, and her split and painful breakup from boyfriend Ken Blumenfeld ignites the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion part three tonight. Why did Kim Richards enter rehab? Are Kim and her boyfriend still together? Tonight Richards will tell Andy Cohen she suffered for alcoholism, admitting she was an alcoholic during the filming of RHOBH season two. But Bravo has previously stated that Kim Richards’ reason for rehab was alcohol and drugs. Richards will also tell Andy Cohen that she has broke up with her boyfriend Ken Blumenfeld, a split previously reported here last fall.
Several weeks ago, LALATE first exclusively broke that Kim Richards would not be part of the group reunion telecast. Richards was in fact out of rehab when the season two RHOBH reunion was taped.
But as reported first here, Andy Cohen taped Richards’ segment in a closed separate taping, days later. Richards appears remorseful. She admits to being alcoholic. But does she admit also to substance abuse tonight as well?
“Brandy thinks it helped you because it got the topic out in the open” Andy Cohen tells Kim tonight. Kim disagreed. “I think what Brandy has caused for family and myself has not been helpful at all.” But she added I own her an apology for hiding her crutches. “Yes, I do.”
Kim Richards tells Cohen that Brandy Glanville’s remarks caused pain for her family. “For putting it all out, I owe her one for hiding her crutches. She owes me one for basically for hurting all the people I love. One daughter cried. Another told me you don’t know how hard it is to walk on the street.”
Throughout the season, Kim Richards wouldn’t film scenes with Brandy. If Richards is invited back for season three, will she ever film with Brandy? Potentially not. “I will never forgive Brandy for her comments. They were too difficult to my family. I will be civil to her.. I will never forgive her.”
Kim also tells Andy that she has never seen the Sur opening episode. “As I said, I saw too much behavior that is not me.” But during tonight’s reunion, she watches it for the first time. “Do you want to see any? It is up to you?” Kim answer “Alright.”

Richards entered the Betty Ford Center for alcoholism and substance abuse last year. She told news this month
“I just didn’t like me anymore. I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror.”

This was not, however, Kim’s first time in rehab. “I’ve struggled with it, and I’ve been working on it for a while. I am a person who has done it and relapsed and done it [again].” She added “I had so much guilt and shame for my behavior…then I drank to cover the guilt and shame and make it go away. It’s a vicious cycle.”

Kim Richards has turned to Kathy Hilton (Paris Hilton’s mother) for support. LALATE has previously reported that Kathy Hilton could potentially join RHOBH for season three.

I am happy Kim went into rehab however sorry to say she was stoned on the reunion.She looked at one point she would fall asleep.Something is still wrong.I wish her well.
