LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Playboy’s Claire Sinclair (photos below) was dating Marston Hefner, Hugh Hefner’s son, when Marston was arrested last night. Claire Sinclair pictures dominated news when she was named Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for October 2010. A co-star on E!’s reality TV show “The Girls Next Door: The Bunny House”, Sinclair went on to be named Playmate of the Year 2011. She additionally appeared on Hollys World. But last night, her world got turned upside down after her live-in boyfriend, Marston Hefner, was arrested for alleged assault, TMZ reports.
In September 2010, LALATE exclusively reported that the star of E!’s reality TV show “The Girls Next Door: The Bunny House” was set to get own spread as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for October. The spread became a blockbuster for the publication, Playboy later told news.
Olivia De Berardinis first tapped Claire for the unique spread. Olivia De Berardinis introduced her to Hugh Hefner, Playboy revealed exclusively to LALATE in September that year. Hef was impressed and booked her for a spread. Sinclair considered Bettie Page as her idol; Sinclair collects vintage items. “Playmates are quintessential works of art,” said Sinclair to LALATE that month. “I couldn’t be more honored.”
By May 2011, Claire was back in the news. The title of Playmate of the Year 2011 was set to be awarded to Claire. But she “got in trouble” when she revealed, months earlier, the news on Holly Madison’s “Holly’s World” reality show. The scandal collided reality tv programming against news announcements.
During the telecast of Hollys World, Sinclair reportedly believed she had authorization to tell TV viewers that she had been picked for the Playmate honor. So she dished the details of her award, before it was ever announced to news.
When the official news announcement was held for press, Sinclair, 19, admitted the blunder. “I got in trouble for [that episode]… But I’m not in charge of the broadcasting at E!” she added.
Sinclair went on to appear in MGM’s Crazy Horse Paris. She became the face of Bettie Page at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile.
Claire received “$100,000 in prize money, a new Harley Davidson 1200 Custom HD-1 collector’s item bike and a one-of-a-kind set of Playboy fragrances dotted with Swarovski diamonds.”
Marston has yet to comment about today’s developments.
