In 2008, Whitney Houston and Ray J were reportedly back dating. The two singers were spotted together partying in Atlanta prior to Ray J’s appearance for a Hot 107.9 performance.

At the same time, Bobby Brown and Ray J were taking shots at each other through the news media and through their songs. On “Boyfriend”, Ray J infamously sang “Is that your wife, is that your shorty? Well I’m her boyfriend”. Ray J’s lyrics were an alleged dis’ of Bobby Brown’s former relationship with Whitney. “I think the problem …Making love is cool, just pull her hair sometimes.”

In November 2010, the NY Daily News claimed Ray and Whitney were back together. The were spotted on a date at the Capital Grille in Atlanta at the time. The newspaper then reported “this was their first date in a long time, Ray J postponed his promotional tour for a few days and spent the night with Houston at the Ritz Carlton.”

Bobby Brown previously said of Whitney Houston “[The marriage] was doomed from the very beginning. Within the first year we separated, with several more to follow. I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married”.

Today another news report claims the two singers are back together, yet again, showing a photo of Ray J and Houston allegedly on a new date in a Los Angeles nightclub, listening to other people’s music.
