LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Toni Braxton needs new backup singers, and she is turning outside Braxton Family Values sisters to cast them. Toni Braxton reveals moments ago that she is casting new backup singers for an upcoming date. The result could be a chance of a lifetime for a singer.
Braxton revealed to news later this afternoon that something came up last minute for her change. “Hey guys! I’ll be lookin’ for some last minute Doo whop pop pop backup singers real soon, so stay tuned” she tells fans in a news statement posted on her Facebook wall today. Toni says an update about the casting will be posted on her Facebook wall.
Braxton doesn’t tell news what prompted the urgent change. But Braxton is set to appear within days here in concert in Los Angeles. Radio station 94.7 The Wave will present live at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles Toni Braxton and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. The appearance is a one night performance February 19 for Toni.
Ironically, just this month, Tamar Braxton and Towanda Braxton fumed on Braxton Family Values over who began singing backup younger for Toni. Then, all the sisters disappointed Toni when the couldn’t put together a medley of her songs for her the Georgia Hall of Fame ceremony.
“I’m very disturbed that you guys didn’t sing at my induction to the Georgia Hall of Fame” Toni told them. “When you are being inducted into something, you call the people close to you. Everybody bailed on me.”
