Mexico Earthquake Terremoto, Felt in Calexico, California

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Mexico earthquake was felt in Calexico, California and sections of Southern California. A moderate terremoto struck Baja Mexico Friday evening but could be felt in some sections across the border in California. No injuries have been reported by local news.
A 3.3 Baja Mexico earthquake struck Friday evening at roughly 4:30 pm local time, USGS reports to news. The Mexico temblor had a nominal depth, local news reports. The quake’s epicenter was only eight miles below the earth’s surface.
The quake was eleven miles west of Guadalupe Victoria, twenty-six miles south of Mexicali. But USGS reports that the quake was only twenty-nine miles south of Calexico. The temblor was centered roughly one hundred miles east of Tijuana. No reports of damage have yet to be detailed by local news.

In related news, a 5.0 magnitude quake struck Bolivia today. The quake, however, had a substantial depth. USGS reports to news that shortly before 5 am time the quake struck roughly one hundred twenty-seven miles below the earth’s surface.
Local news reports that the quake was west of Tupiza, roughly seven miles east of Uyumi, and one hundred miles north of Abra Pampa.
