Multiple news reports have claimed for weeks that, as to “who wins The Bachelor 2012?”, the answer is Courtney Robertson. But now, after weeks of speculation, at least three different reports are confirming that Emily has won the job of Bachelorette 2012 for a spring debut date.

“It’s official, Emily is the new Bachelorette,” an insider close to Emily tells Life & Style. “ABC is even going to move filming to Charlotte [North Carolina, Emily's hometown]. It won’t be in LA at all.”

US Magazine is confirming the same. It claims that Maynard had the role offered to her months ago. But the news site claims that Maynard finally agreed, with production requirements.

Maynard reportedly didn’t want to do the show inside a Los Angeles home. Rather she wanted to do it back home. US and Life and Style report that the show will in fact move out of town. The switch with offer the show a new twist, and of course, new drama.
