BEVERLY HILLS (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Who is not returning to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Who is leaving RHOBH and who is being replaced for season three? There is an ironic media machine at play every season of each Housewives franchise. And while fans should expect a reunion show with just days, fans should also expect casting news stories to surface as well. Whether they are true or erroneous, Housewives casting news articles always surface in the final season of each housewives series. Fans should not expect anything different to happen the final week of January, LALATE can report.
Usually the week before every reunion show debuts, news reports suddenly surface that one or multiple cast members are leaving the show. By now, fans have grown far more skeptical about the accuracy of those reports. In February 2011, the first round of news reports hit news prior to the RHOBH season one reunion.
Not one of those news reports were accurate. With season two reunion telecast just around the corner, fans are also preparing for the sea of casting reports, yet again, to hit news.
Last year, Taylor Armstrong and Camille Grammer were portrayed on RHOBH as the less-likeable characters. Camille Grammer, as a result, dominate erroneous news reports that she was leaving the show. Subsequent reports claimed that fans wanted Taylor replaced while other reports claimed Kim Richards didn’t want to return.
Obviously, all the RHOBH news reports last season were false. One claimed that Kim Richards was “ninety-nine percent certain” she was leaving the show; another claimed Camille had no intentions to leave the show but wanted “the public to feel sorry for her … so she’s not announcing it”. And others claimed fans wanted Taylor replaced.
So what is happening for season three? One cast member in question is the delightfully entertaining Dana Wilkey who should be asked back. Dana wasn’t invited to Hawaii last week on RHOBH. But last night, Nancy R tweeted Dana “So did Dana @Danawilkey get quietly booted off this show?” She responded “I guess we’ll have to wait and see only Andy Cohen knows that.”
This season of RHOBH has been stellar. And despite restrictions on production – with Taylor and Kim’s problems and even Camille’s fear of a lawsuit from Russell – RHOBH has delivered great programming. There isn’t a need to make any cast changes.
But as reported yesterday on LALATE, Bravo should, at most, add Kathy Hilton to the cast. Yes, Kathy Hilton, Paris Hilton’s mother and Kim and Kyle’s sister, wants to join the cast. With Kathy appearing arm-in-arm with Kim, not Kyle, in recent days, Kathy would deliver a stellar twist to the sister feud on RHOBH season three. Let us not forget, also, that is Paris may debut her new album around the same time that RHOBH season three filming would commence.
