LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Is Criss Angel dead following a car wreck scene on Mindfreak? That was the question Criss Angel fans asked in September 2008. Moments ago, the three year old Mindfreak episode re-aired leaving fans still wondering if Angel survived the shocking crash. And while Angel didn’t die, questions remain if his hit reality show will soon come back to life for a new season.

Criss Angel is not the victim of a fake celebrity death story today. He did not crash on Route 80 as falsely reported for David Guetta. He also didn’t fall off a hill as falsely reported for Adam Sandler. And he didn’t overseas as incorrectly report of Akon in recent weeks.

But during a 2008 telecast re-airing tonight on television, Criss Angel left viewers guessing if he died. Ironically, now three years later, viewers tonight are still memorized by arguably one of the best performances ever shown on A&E.

Kurt Angle told news at the time “I thought ‘Oh my god, this is a tragedy, something went wrong’.” Criss Angel himself, before the shocking crash, told news ” It’s time to start thinking outside the box and let the art of magic live on in real life. I hope to be engaging my audiences by having them ask themselves”.

Angel’s episode, dubbed the Car Wreck Vanish, became an instant hit. Sully said of the taping at the time “When I saw Criss go over that cliff, it felt like I just watched my brother kill himself.”

But could a season 7 be coming to A&E? Criss Angel’s Mindfreak last dominated news over the summer when unconfirmed reports claimed the new season was debuting August 3, 2011. It didn’t. A&E has not yet commented on any future plans. Fans asked Angel in June “When are you going to make a new episode of Mindfreak?” Another said it was “best show [on television].” Angel had no comment.

Moments ago, curiosity was renewed. One fan wrote  “Holy — I’ve just watched Criss Angel, he was handcuffed to a steering wheel, drove off a cliff, he was still inside and it exploded!”

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The Fantasia Barrino, Antwaun Cook baby birth is expected for today. Fantasia Barrino is in labor with Antwaun Cook’s baby. The American Idol singer entered labor roughly two hours ago, reports claim. Antwaun is still married to his estranged wife, Paula Cook.

Antwaun’s wife Paula Cook claimed Fantasia had an affair with her husband starting in August 2009. “Beginning as early as August, 2009 and continuing up until the date of the parties’ separation, Defendant / Husband engaged in behavior that was inconsistent with his marital status and / or responsibilities to Plaintiff / Wife” Paula Cook claimed in her divorce papers.

In 2009, pictures surfaced online of Antwaun Cook and Barrino dating. But in a Honey Magazine interview at the time, Barrino denied dating Cook at the time. “Yes, [the rumors] were all really cute to me. I guess it was something about a guy from T-Mobile? [Cook was a T-Mobile sales agent in a Charlotte, NC store in November 2009]. Inaccurate. He was hot, but I think I’m looking for my own man. There’s no boo in my life, I’m married to my career.”

Barrino went on to claim she didn’t even know Antwaun. Barrino told Honey that she had never even met Cook before. “Right now I’m not really focused on a boyfriend; we all know what happens when you get them … As a matter of fact, I’ve never even [met him] before. I think I’d want to be with a guy who’s in the same tax bracket as I am … or higher!”

Fantasia would later say that she was open book her fans. “Fantasia has always been an open book. Honesty, self-respect, and personal responsibility are values she wears proudly” said a Barrino representative in 2010.

Cook and Barrino previously were set to have a baby. Radar Online claimed that Barrino previously “admitted she got pregnant by her married lover Antwaun Cook and had an abortion around the time of her failed suicide attempt.”

ORANGE COUNTY (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 7 premiere date is approaching, Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney reveal to news and fans this week. Real Housewives of Orange County follows the Housewives to Florida and Costa Rica this new season, LALATE has previously reported. Now Vicki and Tamra reveal to news that filming has concluded.

On Friday, Vicki told fan that filming was wrapped and the cast members were ready to celebrate. She wrote “Season 7 Finale party tonight. Hair, nails and eye makeup appts all morning. Hoping it’s going to be a great evening.” She added “do you think there will be any drama?”

Barney in turn reveals to news that Bravo has commenced promotional work for the new season. “I need to find a cocktail dress for season 7 promotional pics. Help….Any ideas?”

It remains unclear which storylines will be featured this season. Perhaps making the cut were the fake Tamra Barney online death reports from November. Tamra was upset in November by reports falsely stating she had died in a Turks and Caicos Island jet ski accident.

That same month Tamra revealed plans of opening a cardio studio. “Thanks everyone for your suggestions I am reading them all. No it is not a “GYM” it is a cardio studio offering different types of classes.”

This season, Vicki and the ladies filmed in both Miami and Costa Rica. Gretchen Rossi, without revealing the location, said the shoot lasted five days. Vicki indicated the temperatures were rising, and not just because of the drama.

BEVERLY HILLS (LALATE) – The Camille Grammer Lisa Vanderpump feud heads to the Palms, Las Vegas on tonight’s RHOBH. Camille Grammer accuses Lisa Vanderpump of fabricating friendships and falsely portraying herself in season two of the Bravo reality show. Vanderpump, instead, has told fans and news that she has been real the entire season and disturbed why so cast members have been critical of her.

Each season of every Housewives series, Bravo seems to push the cast members into two camps. This season on RHOBH, such has not been the case, until tonight. Lisa Vanderpump invites Taylor Armstrong to lunch at Villa Blanca. Suddenly viewers, and even Taylor, are surprised that Armstrong has joined forces with Lisa while keeping her long allegiance to Kyle Richards.

But then, in a later scene, the camps get even better defined. Camille Grammer tells fans Adrienne Maloof has invited her and Brandi Glanville and her to join Maloof at the Palms, the same weekend that the Vanderpump – Armstrong team heads to Sin City. Nowhere in the mix is the often absent Kim Richards.

Camille, who is now dating Dimitri Charalambopoulos, tells viewers tonight “looking back on Taylor’s behavior, I’m shocked .. by her outrageous behavior … She was glazed over, she was completely disconnected.” Camille added that Taylor was “stuck in a pattern of abuse that she has not be able to get out of.”

Camille says she is not putting Taylor in jeopardy, rather Taylor is bringing it upon herself staying with Russell. “She is putting her family in jeopardy [not me] …I’m not forcing her to stay in a relationship.”

But Camille is most shocked by Taylor’s allegiance to suddenly Lisa Vanderpump after two years of disliking Lisa. “And now Taylor and Lisa are friends? … Lisa is not the hero… She is not going to save the world.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Kobe Bryant is defending Kardashian reality shows, following the Lamar Odom trade. Kobe Bryant didn’t tell news if ever watches Lamar Odom on any of the Kardashian shows. But Bryant disputed allegations that Odom’s tv filming fueled decisions to trade Odomo out of Los Angeles.

During a news interview this weekend, Kobe Bryant was close to irate about reports that Lamar Odom was traded out of Los Angeles. Bryant said that Odom was responsible for the Lakers’ success. Moreover, Bryant said last year Odom had his best season ever, despite his increased presence in Kardashian reality programming.

Bryant told news over the weekend “I don’t understand the criticism of [the Kardashian] reality shows… He had his best season last year. It clearly wasn’t a distraction.” Years earlier, Bryant was seen with other Lakers members and wife Vanessa  during the Odom marriage tv special. Bryant added “I don’t get where that criticism [of the reality shows] comes from.”

Bryant stated  “I don’t like it… I’ve known Lamar for a long time, and for the team itself, he’s meant a lot in terms of his versatility, his personality. He’s a big presence for us in the locker room, just from a team chemistry standpoint.”

Bryant also told news that he did not think the trade helped the Lakers’ lineup. Bryant would not indicate, with Odom now in Texas, if he would still be … keeping up with the Kardashians.
