LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – 405 Freeway closures today will prompt traffic delays. Sections of the 405 San Diego Freeway will close at 7 pm PST tonight November 29, 2011 as sections of the “Sunset Segment” of the 1-405 Improvement Project takes a new step, officials tell news.

Construction crews confirm to news that they will be closing the northbound 405 Freeway between Getty Center Drive and Ventura Boulevard starting tonight. The ramps will close at 7 pm and the freeway lanes will close no early than 10 pm.

But the bad news doesn’t end there. The closure could last for multiple nights. Meantime, officials confirm to news that the same conditions will be in place for the southbound lanes starting this Saturday night.

The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project has utilized social media to update travelers about news of new, daily closures. But with so many closures revealed to news every twenty-four hours, it’s often hard for travelers to determine each segment to avoid.

Metro divides segments of its construction across the Wilshire, Sunset, and Mulholland Segments. But as revealed to news and travelers today, there are often several dozen closures within just a few miles of the 405 announced daily. The Project utilizes a Facebook (HERE) and Twitter account. But the most comprehensive resource to travels is the Metro website (HERE).

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Lana Peters aka Svetlana Alliluyeva is dead at 85. Peters was the only daughter of Josef Stalin. She defected to the U.S. in the 1960s and went on to becoming a bestselling author. Funeral arrangements have not been announced to news.

In 1966, Svetlana Alliluyeva left the Soviet Union spread the ashes of Brijesh Singh. But after doing so, she didn’t return to the Soviet Union but announced her defection to the U.S.

She would eventually marry three times, and became Lana Peters after marrying William Wesley Peters. Her brother Jacob died in a concentration camp and her brother Vasili died at age 40 following a life of alcoholism.

In the 1980s she moved to England. Two years later, she was granted citizenship by the Soviet Union. By the mid 1980s, she returned to live in the United States, ultimately staying in Richland Center, Wisconsin.

In 1967, she published her first book Twenty Letters To A Friend on the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. She went on to make more than $2.5 million on the book.

BEVERLY HILLS (LALATE) – The Adrienne Maloof shoe line has expanded to new markets, Maloof tells fans. Maloof shoes were revealed extensively on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this month. But in August, before the debut of season two, LALATE first detailed Adrienne and Lisa Vanderpump’s shoe lines.

“Anyway, those shoes, if they were my line, I would call them the Maloof-hoof” Lisa Vanderpump tells fans tonight. And while Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof tonight were battling over Las Vegas locations for Pandora’s party, both Housewives debuted their shoe lines at the same time back in September.

The Adrienne Maloof shoe line by Charles Jourdan first made news going into presale on isaay.com on September 5th. But the same day, Lisa’s shoe debuted. In August, billboards across Los Angeles streets proclaimed “The Vander Pump” debuting September 5 in presale on ryanhabercollection.com.

Lisa has been doing major press this month about her new book, while Adrienne’s focus has been on her shoes. Today she told news that the shoe line is expanding into markets as far as Panama. “One of my most exciting endeavors recently has been designing a capsule collection for the truly iconic French luxury footwear brand Charles Jourdan.

“I’ve been a lifelong fan of gorgeous shoes, and it really was a pleasure learning about and participating in the design process with their team.” She added “The shoes will be launched with several in-store events in December (details to come soon!), but I want to make sure that you know where you can see my shoes in person”.

The shoe is now available in major U.S. markets including Las Vegas, Miami and Las Vegas. And while it’s not yet available in Beverly Hills, ironically, the shoe is sold across Los Angeles including Sherman Oaks.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Dog The Bounty Hunter’s news season eight has been moved to January, 2012. Dog The Bounty Hunter was previously announced to news as returning to U.S. television for an eighth season this December. But yesterday, the date was confirmed changed.

Back on September 22, Duane Chapman confirmed news that the news season eight was returning December 14. “Ok just found out [that] New Dog the Bounty Shows start on A&E on December 14 the Season 8″. Beth later informed fans news of the same, retweeting “We have some VERY exciting news! Dog the Bounty Hunter will be returning to A&E with new episodes on Wednesday, December 14th.”

But yesterday, Dog confirmed that A&E will be hunting a new premiere date.”New season starts January 4th get ready Big Season coming up”. A&E has yet to comment on the reason for the switch. Elsewhere, the series returns to SKY2 tonight at 7PM in the UK and Ireland tonight.

Also this week, Beth and Dog reveal new details about season eight. Beth writes “8 seasons on television 250 shows is not easy and it’s not easy being the #1 show on the network it’s stressful.” But she will have help, with her brothers making appearances during the season. “These are my two bro’s [Randy] and Tim they will both make an appearance this season; Tim builds race cars for a living.”

Beth also tells fans “Ya thru this season I gained and lost and gained. I’m so glad to have lost the weight again it was a very stressful Season”.

ORANGE COUNTY (LALATE) – An Alexis Bellino nose job will reportedly be detailed in the news season of Real Housewives of Orange County. Alexis Bellino got a nose job October 17, 2011 during taping of the new season. Bellino has previously confessed to breast implants and lip injections. Her Botox episode last season featured drama after Tamra Barney brought mace to the gathering. But Bellino tells news that she had the nose job after suffering sinus infections for years. She also reveals that she broke her nose at age six.

Bellino has not waited to show off her new nose. She tells news this week she’s already hitting the studio. ” Photo shoot yesterday, photo shoot today…Can’t wait to lounge with the family tomorrow! “

While not confirmed by Bellino, it appears that she had the procedure far in advance of a possible out-of-town shooting for the new season. Vicki Gunvalson and Gretchen Rossi both tell fans today that they are going out of town for filming.

Bellino didn’t initially reveal the news of the procedure to fans on Facebook. Two days before the procedure, she posted a new blog article. Her next post was October 17 at 8 PM in which she wrote “Finally have some time in front of the computer”. Bellino apparently was back into action fast. On the 23rd, she appeared on KDOC’s What’s Up Orange County dancing it up for fans.
