LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – The Lindsay Lohan Playboy release date has not been officially confirmed to news. But the cover for Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy photos should be released to news as early as December 9, 2011, LALATE can exclusively reveal.

Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy January 2012 issue arrives on newsstands in the coming weeks. Typically, Playboy releases the January print issue in advance of its publication month. But when are the first images in digital preview released to news? The answer rests with Pamela Anderson, LALATE can report.

Lindsay Lohan’s January 2012 follows in the footsteps of Pamela Anderson’s January 2011 issue. By at least December 9, 2010, Playboy released to news the cover photo of  Pamela Anderson’s January 2011 issue. Then, days later, on roughly December 15, 2010, Playboy released to news two additional pictures of Anderson from inside the issue, along with two pages of Anderson’s article.

Unless Playboy departs from its timing used previously, fans should expect to see the cover photo for Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy issue by roughly December 9, 2011. Fans may also see a second round of additional images roughly a week later. (Update 12/9 the photos have been released.)

Anderson’s issue made news as a record thirteenth cover for the TV actress. It also featured a poem written by Anderson. In contrast, this is Lohan’s first shoot for Playboy after years of denying alleged offers from the publication. The issue also follows years of Lohan claiming that critics fail to take her seriously. “The tabloids don’t give you a chance. They don’t want to know who you are inside. If everything’s OK with you, who wants to hear about it? I believe in myself and I’m a good actress.”

Recently Lindsay Lohan made news by being named Ad.ly’s “biggest actress influencer”. Lohan said of the news “thank you… that’s such an honor.” It’s Lohan’s most notable award of the year. Lohan was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards three consecutive years from 2004 to 2007; she last won in 2004 for Mean Girls. The same role earned her an MTV Movie Award the following year.

On the music front, Lohan has yet to release a new album since the 2005 hit A Little More Personal (Raw). The album drew mixed reviews. Sal Cinquemani of Slant Magazine said the album was “more consistent than its predecessor, and it’s not a bad listen by any means.” He added “but for all the so-called weighty subject matter, there’s not much meat on these bones”.

The album eventually went to Gold in the US and Taiwan and reached twentieth position on the U.S. Billboard.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Paris Hilton’s Platinum Blonde, an old song, is prompting new confusion today. Paris Hilton is set to release new music in 2012, LALATE reported earlier this year. But today, one notable website reports news in an article entitled “new music from Paris Hilton?” that “an alleged demo from a recent session has hit the net, called Platinum Blonde!”

There’s just one problem. The song Platinum Blonde isn’t new. Moreover, the song is not recorded from a recent season, and didn’t just hit the net. The track hit the net in 2008. To date, the track has generated over one hundred thousand views.

But a quick perusal of YouTube reveals something additionally suspect. Exactly two years ago this week in November 2009, the same track hit multiple YouTube accounts in which poster(s) claimed the track then was “new music from Paris Hilton” for the upcoming year. As of November 2009, the track was already a year old, and no new music arrived from Hilton in 2010.

So why has a track that is now almost three years old been the subject of multiple incorrect reports, first in November 2010 and then in November 2011? Perhaps it’s just a coincidence. No comment by Hilton herself.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2012 fight prompted further negotiations yesterday. While a Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao fight for May 5, 2012 has been allegedly been agreed upon by Mayweather but not Pacquiao, Bob Arum told news yesterday that Pacquiao is interested. Pacman confirmed the same. But critics claim that Pacman and Arum will never agree to fight Mayweather, under any circumstances.

As broke first here yesterday, Mayweather accused Pacman of allegedly making excuses never to fight. Mayweather says that Pacman is afraid of losing, that Pacquiao knows he lost his last fight, and Manny is not being a good business man by allegedly refusing to sign for a May 5th date.

Arum however responded to Mayweather in part yesterday. In an interview with the Manila Standard, Arum said “There are a couple of investors who want to put up a lot of money to do the fight. So we are exploring how real it is. The investors know Mayweather.” He added “They met with us at my house and they told Michael that they were going to see Mayweather and that Roger Mayweather would meet Michael outside the gym and take him in to meet with Mayweather.”

On a video exclusive interview with FightHype, Mayweather said he was “speculating” that Pacman is allegedly being misled by Arum about his payment through PPV. Arum did not respond to those accusations. Rather he stated “If I explore the deal and Floyd likes the deal, hopefully he’ll accept it, and if he doesn’t like the deal and then he says we have to do a regular ordinary deal so we run it ourselves, I’ll sit down with whomever he says. But right now it makes no sense to sit down with anybody else.”

Pacman has responded to the news as well. After meeting with members of Congress at the Resorts World Hotel and Casino, he told news yesterday “Hopefully, the next fight, is Mayweather … however, I am not saying it will push through.” Freddie Roach has said of a possible fight “I think it would be the best fight in the world and I would love to see it”. But yesterday, Pacman did not respond to Mayweather’s accusations.

Mayweather had said “Losing is in Pacquiao’s mind because he lost just last week. He lost to Marquez three times. May 5 is the date, sign the contract, I’m waiting.”

ORANGE COUNTY (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Real Housewives of Orange County Season 7 will head to Costa Rica, LALATE can reveal. The Real Housewives of Orange County new season has been taping this fall. And while Bravo usually employs its Housewives not to dish details about the season before it airs, a certain Ms “Woo Hoo” Housewife may have revealed a bit too much overnight to her fans.

Online, Gretchen Rossi, Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson were actively updating fans about their Thanksgiving weekend plans. But then, there was a notable twist in their posts. Barney, who is exceptionally active on Facebook, hasn’t written since November 23. “Wishing everyone a wonderful thanksgiving ….so many things to be thankful for”. Alexis Bellino’s last comment was on Sunday. “Did anyone see Real Housewives of Atlanta tonight? They claimed it was going to be too hot for TV and they were right! Keep that off national television!” she fumed.

So why have Tamra and Alexis gone quiet on social media? Gretchen Rossi and Vicki have the apparent answers. Rossi wrote Monday “Headed out of the country for five days so will be out of commission with all of my Facebook an twitter friends! Talk with u all when I get back home!” Rossi, in accordance with Bravo usual instructions, doesn’t state where she is going or whether she is heading there for filming.

Of course, the answers all rest with Vicki. So Vicki, where are the Housewives “going woo hoo”? She first wrote “Leaving Chicago. Headed to Miami to meet the ladies.. Then onto our next destination to film this week” she updated fans on Monday.

So where are the housewives filming this week? Vicki doesn’t initially tell fans. But during the night, she wrote about her new location this week: “90 degrees Costa Rica!” Bravo has yet to comment about Vicki’s remarks.

MALIBU (LALATE) – Malibu earthquake aftershocks continue today following last night’s quake in the region. A moderate earthquake struck west of Malibu last night shortly before 11 pm local time. No reports of injuries have been detailed by local news.

At 10:56 pm PST Monday night, a 3.3 magnitude quake struck the region, USGS reports to the news. The quake was thirty-two miles southwest of Malibu. USGS indicates to news that the quake had a nominal depth and hence was felt over a wide area. The quake struck less than seven miles below the earth’s surface.

The quake was thirty-eight miles from Port Hueneme, roughly forty miles from Oxnard, and only fifty-six miles west of downtown Los Angeles.

While USGS is reporting news of the quake as the Malibu or Channel Islands quake, data from the quake clearly shows it was directly west of Rancho Palos Verdes. It was out in the Pacific Ocean west of Torrance, southwest of Santa Monica, northwest of Catalina island.

Roughly two hours later, another quake struck up the coast. At 12:16 AM today, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of California. USGS indicates to news that the second quake had also a nominal depth, just 5 miles below the earth’s surface. The quake was located seven miles from Petrolia, nineteen miles from Ferndale, and roughly thirty-five miles from Eureka. No reports of damage have been detailed by local news.
