Myrtle Beach Walmart Shootings Erupt During Black Friday

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – The Myrtle Beach Walmart erupted into gunfire during Black Friday sales. The Myrtle Beach Walmart had already been serving customers when a robbery ensued. By the end, no fatalities resulted, but one person was injured.
Myrtle Beach’s Walmart had opened early for Black Friday sales early; Tonia Robbins and her family had already made purchases and were heading back to the car. Suddenly, when walking pass the Osaka Japanese Steakhouse, someone attempted to rob her and her family. Gunfire from the robbery suspects erupted. Tonia was shot in the foot. Her son, Jeremy Robbins, was hit in the head.
Father Jerry Robbins tells news that the robbers shot at Jeremy, but missed, and hit his mother. Jeremy got five staples to his head and was released from a local area hospital. Tonia will undergo surgery on her foot later today.
Meantime, Anna Robbins, Tonia’s sister, is credited for saving the family’s live. Ann had gone shopping with her pistol (loaded) on her. When robbers began shooting, Anna began firing bullets into the air to scare the attackers.
“We’re very thankful she was there,” Jerry Robbins tells the Sun News. “Because Ann had her pistol with her is what probably saved their lives.”
