CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – “Shakira Live In Paris” (“Shakira En Vivo Desde París”) is set to be released as a DVD. But today Shakira told news that the film will also be released in movie theatres around the world. And while one of Shakira’s biggest markets is the U.S., the highly anticipated film wasn’t confirmed for a USA theatrical release today.

Yesterday, Shakira reveled to fans and news the DVD and Blu-Ray plans for the filmed concert performance. “Shak’s Live From Paris DVD is out a week today”. Today she confirmed to news that the concert film will head to seven countries. “Shakira’s Live In Paris DVD to be shown in cinemas across the world (including 150 in Italy)” she said in a news statement moments ago.

The Mexico market will get the film in forty cities through the Cinepolis company. Cinepolis has yet to confirm locations for the film. But Cinepolis does have a location in Tijuana and other Mexico border towns.

Spain, Portugal, Italy, Holland, Belgium, and Brazil will begin offering the film to moviegoers, even before its DVD release. Italy will show the film on one hundred fifty screens. Shakira confirms to news also that “Live In Paris DVD” will be shown in “Dolby Surround”. For more, click HERE.
