David Bromstad Art To Be Unveiled during Art Basel 2011

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – David Bromstad (HGTV) will unveil his art collection during Art Basel 2011 next month, he confirms to news today. David Bromstad’s art has dominated each episode of the hit HGTV series Color Splash. But now Bromstad will join Art Basel excitement in December.
In a news statement, Bromstad says “I['m]… unveiling a new fabulous and very hot personal collection at the Z Ocean Hotel” on December 1. But while Bromstad is always filed with laughter on his hit HGTV TV series Color Splash, he tells fans and news today that the preparing for next month’s task has been hard work.
“We are Werq’n out the design space at The Z Ocean Hotel in South Beach. Last day of prep before my exhibition. I am telling you something: fierceness is on its way.” He adds “send me Love, Send me Luck, Send me Good Vibes because my whole team is going to need it. Let’s WERQ.”
Bromstad dominated news in September by taking over with Tanika Ray the HGTV hit show Design Star. He correctly anticipated that Meg Caswell could possibly win the season. “Behind the scenes, Meg was very worried about the second level of camera challenges. She struggled … which is a first for her. [But later] she seemed like she had a different level of energy. I really enjoyed watching her” David told viewers.
In 2006, David beat out a tough field to win the Design Star and get his own program, Color Splash. The show has since baffled the senses with David’s unprecedented understanding of colors; he has taught viewers that colors, when juxtaposed in peculiar spaces, can create amazing impacts, whether the colors are on massive walls or on small desk accessories. David has since made appearances on the newer HGTV series, HGTV’d. For more about David during Art Basel, click HERE.
