LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Teacher Kevin Hogan and film actor Hytch Cawke (photo above) are the same person, claims FOX25 “undercover” reporters. But now the FOX report on Kevin Hogan aka Hytch Cawke is prompting more controversy than the English teacher himself. The news comes just days after teacher Heidi Kaeslin (photos below) faced trouble at school following her own website work outside the classroom.

Since 2007, the number of stories about teachers investigated for current or former employment in “films” has grown. Sometimes the stories involve female teachers and other times it’s male teachers. But until this year, most of the stories usually stemmed from students, or parents, who had reported the teacher’s current or previous conduct to school administrators.  FOX25 does not make clear if it exposed the teacher itself first. But FOX makes no mention of how school officials learned about the Hogan allegations.

There have been multiple cases about female teachers who previously posed for Playboy or other comparable publications. Ultimately, each teacher scandal focused on the employment contracts, whether previous conduct had to be disclosed at the time of hiring.

Last month, Heidi Kaeslin’s alleged conduct renewed the debate. Heidi Kaeslin was praised by her students. But outside the classroom, she had a second alleged job. Heidi Kaeslin (pictures below) allegedly maintained four websites including RandHentertainment.com and 360pig.com. On at least one of those websites, Heidi Kaeslin appeared fully clothed wearing an “I Heart Teachers” t-shirt.

Heidi was put on administrative leave for a Code of Ethics of the Education Profession which she consented to in her employment. Heidi was accused of conduct while being a teacher, not before. But was the conduct a violation of her employment contract? The code was not particularly clear in her case, reported local news. The code only prohibited conduct which “involve jeopardy to student welfare; evidence malice, serious incompetency or bad judgment; or show a consistent pattern of misconduct.”

Today, it’s Kevin Hogan. He claims he is not a film actor currently or previously.  But yesterday, FOX 25’s “undercover” reporters revealed that teacher Kevin Hogan allegedly is former male film star Hytch Cawke. “Hogan has worked at the Mystic Valley Regional Charter School in Malden since September. In addition to his coaching and teaching duties, he also chairs the high school’s English department” claimed FOX. But FOX added “But he can also be found on the Internet and in ad–lt entertainment stores under his screen name”.

The twist, however, is that FOX does not indicate if it revealed the teacher’s past first, or someone else. In FOX’s interview with the teacher, Hogan indicates that it’s Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving weekend. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Happy Thanksgiving” said Hogan on camera.

Yet, the FOX report, published only Tuesday, now states that Mystic Valley has placed him on paid leave while they conduct their own investigation. The school also stated “We value the health and safety of our students, the school followed our normal hiring practices.” Hogan has yet to comment on the investigation.

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – “Shakira Live In Paris” (“Shakira En Vivo Desde París”) is set to be released as a DVD. But today Shakira told news that the film will also be released in movie theatres around the world. And while one of Shakira’s biggest markets is the U.S., the highly anticipated film wasn’t confirmed for a USA theatrical release today.

Yesterday, Shakira reveled to fans and news the DVD and Blu-Ray plans for the filmed concert performance. “Shak’s Live From Paris DVD is out a week today”. Today she confirmed to news that the concert film will head to seven countries. “Shakira’s Live In Paris DVD to be shown in cinemas across the world (including 150 in Italy)” she said in a news statement moments ago.

The Mexico market will get the film in forty cities through the Cinepolis company. Cinepolis has yet to confirm locations for the film. But Cinepolis does have a location in Tijuana and other Mexico border towns.

Spain, Portugal, Italy, Holland, Belgium, and Brazil will begin offering the film to moviegoers, even before its DVD release. Italy will show the film on one hundred fifty screens. Shakira confirms to news also that “Live In Paris DVD” will be shown in “Dolby Surround”. For more, click HERE.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A strong earthquake struck Mexico today in Zacatecas, outside Durango. The Mexico terremoto today struck during lunchtime, USGS reports to news. Local news has yet to detail any damage in the region.

Shortly after noon today, Zacatecas was rocked by a 4.6 terremoto, a temblor outside Sombrerete. USGS reports to the news that the quake had a nominal depth while also being centrally located in the state of Zacatecas. Zacatecas is Mexico’s eighth largest state with a population of 1.5 million residents.

USGS indicates to news that today’s temblor struck only nine miles below the earth’s surface. The Zacatecas temblor was centered seventy-two miles east of Durango. The quake was also four hundred miles north west of Mexico City.

The quake was centered in the central section of the country. It was located north of Guadalajara, USGS indicates to news, and north east of Puerto Vallarta.

In related news, Puerto Rico was rocked by a lighter earthquake today. A 3.1 magnitude quake struck north of Hatillo, Puerto Rico today. The Puerto Rico earthquake todaywas sixty miles west of San Juan.

Puerto Rico has been a hotbed of earthquake activity this month, with most of the quakes centered off-land but with nominal depth. No reports of damage have yet to be detailed by news.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Khloe Kardashian is fascinating like Sarah Palin, so believes Barbara Walters. Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian were named by Barbara Walters to her Top 10 Most Fascinating People of The Year broadcast, following the footsteps of Sarah Palin, Walter’s 2010 “honoree”.

Barbara Walters annually announces some, but not all, of her “10 Most Fascinating People” selections before the December broadcast. Today, Walters confirmed to news that she has selected celebrities from the world of music, sports, money, royalty, situation comedy, and reality television. The categories bare a resemblance to her news announcement in 2010.

Last year, all those genres were included along with politics. For 2010, Walters confirmed to news Justin Bieber. This year it’s Simon Cowell and Katy Perry. This year, she selected Derek Jeter; last year it was LeBron James. And while Kate Middleton made Walters’ list for 2010, this year it’s Pipa selected for the broadcast.

Donald Trump, Katy Perry, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet, and the Kardashians round out the selections. The show will air December 14th and mark Walters’ 19th year of the broadcast. In selecting the Kardashians, Walters reportedly only selected Khloe, Kim and Kourtney, but not didn’t chose Rob or the rest of the family for the “fascinating” broadcast.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are planning a wedding, again; the two are engaged a second time. Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler confirmed news today that they will marry. The couple split up just before their first planned wedding. Cavallari went on to join Dancing with the Stars. Then the couple slowly got back together. But today, they confirmed the will final walk down the aisle.

In April, Jay wouldn’t discuss much about the couple’s relationship. “I’m so busy with football and [offensive coordinator] Mike [Martz] and stuff it’s just hard to catch up with that. The only way I hear about it is if my sister tells me. Yeah, we’re going well. It’s working out so far.”

In July 2011, the Jay Cutler, Kristin Cavallari wedding was off. A source from PEOPLE reported at the time “She got dumped. She’s absolutely devastated. She can’t believe this is happening.”

But in September, the couple slowly began seeing each other. “They’re not officially back together but they’re definitely talking and figuring things out,” the source told PEOPLE at the time.

In October, they were confirmed dating again. She told Ryan Seacrest “It’s really unfair that people drag me into this. Why should I be dragged into Mark’s [Ballas] drama? I have nothing to do with it, honestly. No offense, Mark’s a great guy, but he’s like a brother to me. And I would just never go there.”

Recently, Cavallari was furious that reports claimed that she was dating Scott Disick.
